Marina Bay area is fully walkable with air-conditioned underground linkways connecting Bayfront, Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay. For MRT and buses, buy an EZ-Link card (SGD 12 with SGD 7 value) at Changi Airport MRT or 7-Eleven, or Singapore Tourist Pass (1-day SGD 22, 2-day SGD 29, 3-day SGD 34) with unlimited rides.

Best time is 8:00 PM show on weekdays (Sunday-Thursday) – less crowded than 9 PM. November to February offers pleasant 26-30°C evenings with clear skies. Arrive 15-20 minutes early for front-row spot. If raining heavily, show may be cancelled for safety – check MBS website.
Total Time Required
Show itself: 15 minutes. For full evening experience: 2-2.5 hours including Garden Rhapsody (15 mins), Spectra (15 mins), Helix Bridge walk (30 mins) and dinner (60 mins). Ideal plan: 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

This is the best free night show in Singapore and I never skip it, even on my 5th visit! Most tourists watch only once from Event Plaza, but the real magic is watching it twice.
My personal recommendation:
GlimpseTrip Tip: Watch the 8 PM show from Event Plaza (front row centre, near the 12m prism) for powerful music and water mist on your face, then walk 12 minutes via Helix Bridge to Merlion Park for the 9 PM show – you will get the entire Marina Bay Sands hotel as backdrop with laser reflections on water. If visiting on Friday or Saturday, stay for the 10 PM show – least crowded and most romantic. For photographers, set phone to night mode, 0.5x wide, no flash and record video from 30 seconds before show starts. And yes, combine with Garden Rhapsody at 7:45 PM – both free, both in same evening!
